I am so happy to finally be non-sick. Like I even feel normal again! How wonderful simply feeling like yourself again is!
The kiddo has really started testing boundaries here lately. He used to go right to it with any orders that we gave him, you know the typical ones go in the kitchen and get me some pie, go put air in the tires, play Rachmaninov on your recorder for me, boy. He was so good at doing everything. Now it is like "Please come here" and off he jets to another room. Yeah, he is two alright. I am really pleased to see how he treats other kids though. Like in the nursery on Sunday, one of the workers told me that she was changing another child's diaper and they were being kind of fussy, so my boy goes right over and pats them on the arm as if to say "Don't worry, it'll be alright". Isn't that just the sweetest thing? And last Friday, I was helping out my sister because she had to have a shot in her back so that hopefully it won't hurt so bad and so with her not being able to help her kids out all that much I was just sort of there to help out (as is previously stated by captain repeat myself three times). Anyhow, whenever her youngest acted fussy my son would go and find a pacifier and try to put it in his mouth. Of course, he kept putting it in in the wrong direction and he also kept trying to pull it back out once he had stuck it in as if to see how this thing really works, it was just so cute and helpful. I really hope he continues being this helpful with other kids, you know, like until this little girl inside of me is able to do what he can do. So, since he is being this helpful I suppose I really shouldn't complain about him not listening to me.
