issues. i have issues....

I apologize for the previously completely non-descript post that formerly occupied this position. I was having a bad creative flow day, as in the complete lack of flow. I really wanted to write something compelling and insightful and when I prepared to type nothing happened. I was very saddened by the lack of expression that occurred and thus the post simply stated that I had issues. There is nothing physically, emotionally, or mentally wrong with my life right now. I am, however, currently dealing with some issues that I haven't even told RC about yet. it isn't something horrendous that will end our relationship or anything, it actually has nothing to do with our personal relationship, it has to do with my relationship with the church we currently attend. I know that you aren't supposed to just sit and wait for God to do something, but that is what I am doing more and more these days. I feel like since the days of tc@hh my fire has dwindled to a mere speck of ash. (TO the MS element, tc@hh was the church body I communed with before moving to MS.) I am just really having problems within myself trying to figure out how to "get back into God". So, I suppose that means I really am having more issues than previously thought.

Well, the previous post is no longer "to be continued". I have forgotten it enough to not be able to tell you about the rest of it. So you just have to suffer until you cough up the money to see it for yourself.
Squishy boy recieved his first hair cut yesterday. All I did was trim his bangs because they were stabbing him in the eyeballs. But he looks just like a little angel. Since having my first taste of cutting a wriggly screaming child's hair, I just couldn't wait to do it again. The first child's hair I did was my nephew (my sister's son, not my sister-in-law's son). I did that almost three weeks ago. Now, after having cut a screaming Squishy's hair, I can't wait to do it again. And the startling thing is that it is almost straight, the cutting that I did that is.

Kung Fu Hustle

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
Some of you out there know how big of an "all things Japanese" freak I am. Well, last... umm... Friday (maybe?) my hubby and I went to see Kung Fu Hustle, Stephen Chow's latest flick. For a silly little female (dirty American pig), I enjoyed the story line. However, it had an R-rating for a reason. I must say that I have not seen an R-rated flick in ages, probably since Requiem for a Dream (don't ask, it was sick). I don't like R-rated movies, but I figured since this is a "martial arts" film, of course there will be lots of fighting, so that is probably why it is rated R. Well, there is a difference between fighting and violence. The movie highlighted the life of a guy who, with his trusty friend, impersonates members of the most vile Axe Gang in order to get what they want. They choose the wrong place to do it: an apartment complex managed by a noisy landlady who won't put up with anything, and her lecherous hubby. The scam they play is the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back. The residents of the complex go up at arms against the gang, when they do actually show up. So, out of the residents there are only three guys who can stand up to the strength of the Axe Gang. And, go figure, they just happen to be Kung Fu masters. If I remeber correctly they were generally referred to as Tailor, Doughnut, and something. Sorry, I have a bad memory. Eventually, the Axe Gang hires the best assasins they can find. What followed is one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever witnessed, which is the assasination of the three Masters.
Oh crap. I have to do something productive before Squishy wakes up. So until later,
to be continued...
